About the project
Beit Polak is an old building, bearing a unique historic significance: this is one of the first houses of "Ahuzat Bayit", the building of which marked the initial foundation of the city of Tel Aviv. Over the years, the beautiful building housed some of the most important people and organizations in the history of the city and the Hebrew settlement, such as the Zionist Commission, the first restaurant in "Ahuzat Bayit", and many more.
The building, intended for strict conservation, reflects the unique building style which characterized the early days of Tel Aviv. YBOX is reviving this extraordinary building, while preserving its historic character: the ground floor of the building will be designated for retail, and will include restaurants and shops, while the second floor will be used as offices.
